Watermain crossing the Winnipeg River, raw water intake into the Winnipeg River, wet well and raw water supply main
The raw water intake for Sagkeeng First Nation was designed with the river intake located upstream of the Tembec mill. The project works included:
- Installation of a new raw water intake system (including an intake screen, intake piping, wet well and wet well building), upstream of the paper mill effluent discharge location;
- A chemical feed line with aeration from the wet well pumphouse to the intake screen;
- Installation of approximately 12,000 m of raw water supply main at the water plant; and,
- Approximately 500 m of piping crossing the Winnipeg River.
