Lake St. Martin First Nation Water Treatment Plant

Due to severe overland flooding of their reserve lands, Lake St. Martin First Nation established a new community to the northwest of the existing Reserve on four and a half quarter sections in the RM of Grahamdale. JRCC provided the engineering services for the design and construction administration of infrastructure works for the new community, which included a water treatment plant (WTP).

JRCC completed the design of the new WTP, which consists of a membrane filtration system that utilizes a combination of ultrafiltration and reverse osmosis membranes for the surface water treatment process. JRCC provided full-time resident administration for the 430 m² WTP, 1,100 m³ concrete reservoir, raw water pumphouse complete with a raw-water intake system, 700 m of raw water piping, 10,650 m of raw water supply piping, a sewage lift station, 3,400 m of lagoon discharge piping and 8,200 m of sewage forcemain piping.
